This newly constructed 4 season Northwood's cabin was once part of the historic Pinehurst Resort on Lower Clam Lake near Clam Lake, Wisconsin. Now privately owned, the recently constructed cabin has been transformed into a modern, comfortable getaway located in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest.
Set among tall Norway pines on the wooded shores of Lower Clam Lake, the cabin enjoys an elevated view of this popular area lake. Enjoy a day at the sandy beach, a swim to the raft, a kayak paddle around the peaceful lake, a quiet evening around the campfire, a meal off the grill at the picnic table or relax on the deck overlooking the lake.
A path and stairway leads down the bank to the lakeshore and private dock. Lower Clam Lake is a 230 acre lake with a maximum depth of 20-30 feet and has a public boat landing. Fish in the lake include musky, pan fish, new bass, and walleye. Wildlife in the area includes loons, eagles, grouse, osprey, bear, deer, and elk.
The open clean interior of the cabin features knotty pine vaulted ceilings, Amish milled maple flooring in the living area and sunroom, tiled entry and bath and carpeting in the bedrooms. For your comfort, the cabin has ceiling fans in all rooms and tasteful Northwood's décor. The living room has a gas fireplace and large screen TV with VCR/DVD player and a stereo receiver ( I-Pod equipped) with wall-mounted speakers in the living areas. The futon in the living room folds down to provide additional sleeping space.
The kitchen features all new appliances including full size refrigerator and freezer, electric stovetop and oven, coffeemaker, microwave and all cooking essentials. The brightly lit dining room table easily sits four.
French doors lead out onto a lake front sunroom that has a second futon, reading chair and ceiling fan offering additional quality living space to this rental.
One bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed in it and a small TV with DVD player. The bathroom has a tiled floor and walk-in shower.
