The Schoolhouse vacation rental is conveniently located just south of the intersection of Hwy 77 (part of the Great Divide National Forest Scenic Byway) & Cty Hwy GG.  Known for its excellent fall foliage and wildlife viewing, the scenic byway spans 29 miles between Glidden and Hayward on Hwy 77 through the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest and Clam Lake, WI.   The West Torch River Hiking Trail is only 2.5 miles south of the house on Cty Hwy GG and popular ski trails like Rock Lake, Mukwonago and the Birkie Trail are only a short drive.

The house is also located across the street from one of several snowmobile trails that run through Clam Lake making it possible to ride from the front door of the rental to explore the hundreds of miles of groomed trails.  The vacation rental is only ½ mile from downtown and its convenience store, gas station, restaurants and shops.

The split level home has an open main floor with a large carpeted living room furnished with comfortable sofas and ceiling fan. A large bay window overlooks the yard. The kitchen has full size refrigerator/freezer, gas stovetop and electric oven, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Patio doors lead from the dining/kitchen area out onto the deck overlooking the backyard.

The main floor has 2 carpeted bedrooms and 1 full bath. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed and the other bedroom has a double bed in it. The lower level has a third bedroom with a double bed.
