Torch River Wilderness Retreat

The Torch River Wilderness Retreat covers 160 acres of pristine forest several miles south of Clam Lake. This property is incredibly private with gated access making for an ideal setting to observe the resident wildlife including the elk. The Torch River location offers a truly unique wilderness experience.

The log sided main cabin has a large bedroom with one set of bunk beds and a double bed. The kitchen is roomy and comes with stove and oven, full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The cabin is heated by a forced air furnace and the dining room has a cozy fireplace. The cabin is fully handicap accessible.

A few yards from the main cabin there is a bunkhouse that can sleep six in three sets of bunk beds. Enjoy your own private clubhouse or sequester the snorers in the group, you have the flexibility.

Spanning the Torch River is a foot bridge which connects the two parts of the property. Wander through the towering pines, relax next to the rustling stream or picnic in a serene meadow. The main cabin sits on the banks of the river making this an absolutely beautiful piece of property. Hike snowshoe, fish, bike ride, or ski right out the front door.
